I was pretty dismal by that but I was reading about OPC and it looks really promising if I could learn how to use it. I was trying to pull off data from my Mitsubishi PLC using Python and an ethernet connection but apparently there's some sort of communication protocol that blocks my parsing and reading. I work with colleagues that have Rockwell-AB experience so there's not a lot that I can ask them about the Mitsubishi stuffs. I am trying to build a full-scale SCADA system using Mitsubishi products and so far it has been hard.
